Unique Personalised Advice

I contacted Nikki to help me find a Muay Thai Camp in Thailand. There’s so much choice online and it’s difficult to figure out which camp is right for you! With Nikki’s help, I booked Battle Conquer Gym in an amazing off the beaten track location in Thailand. I had a terrific experience and everything from the training to the social vibe was really special. If you want expert guidance in finding unique experiences in Asia, Iโ€™d recommend getting in touch with these guys!

A Life Saver!

I messaged Nikki on WhatsApp looking for help with sustainable accommodation and jungle trekking in Bukit Lawang. She helped me find lovely last minute accommodation and put me in touch with the owners so I could organise my trek. She was an absolute gem and calmed my nerves about my solo backpacking trip in Indonesia. Nikki also suggested I join their Facebook group which was super helpful having a community of people sharing advice from their travels.

Exceeded all out expectations.. The guide was very good, the boat itself was beautiful ..spacious and very clean with great loos! The food was excellent and the transfers to our hotels in Pakbang and Luang Prubang were all included and easy. The river journey was stunning.. we only wished for even more days. We enjoyed the visits to villages and cave of Buddhas .. the only small change I would wish for is an extra 10 minutes at the buddha cave steps were very long and steep meaning only 5 minutes in the cave for us as an older slower couple. Highly recommend staying in Huay Xai the night before as we did ..it is lovely and to avoid stress of early morning border crossing whichnis outside of Nagi control of course

I spent a week at Punch it Gym and I booked through this website. We were collected from the ferry port and dropped off at the airport. The gym and coaches were excellent, as I have never done Muay Thai before! The healthy eating cafe had lovely food too. I would recommend coming here to train!

We had a spectacular time. In addition to great food we got a historical and cultural tour of Penangโ€™s UNESCO Heritage Area. So much so that we canceled our UNESCO tour that we had scheduled for the following day. The food and drink that we sampled was all delicious. We couldnโ€™t eat it all! I highly, highly recommend this tour!

We are a family of 4 (with 2 kids, 8 and 10) and we had a great time during this trip. It's slow travel but the scenery is perfect to spend time looking around. Our guide has been great, with answers for a lot of specific knowledge about this part of Asia. Also, the hotel selected for the mid-journey has been great, with a swimming pool and a nice view for sunset. I would recommend this tour to family and friends who want to travel in this region.

Excellent and informative, we saw the dolphins and loved watching them feed. A very ethical trip no chasing the dolphins. We also visited the fish carving place. We 100% recommend this trip. Mr Dahn was really good with children too

Full disclaimer โ€“ I work at South East Asia Backpacker website but I paid full price for this activity.

The How Are You Really? Yoga retreat at Yoga Barn was a breath of fresh air on my travels. Classes were varied and challenging (the FlyHigh was a definite highlight)! Meals were also very tasty and gave the guests a great chance to get to know each other. I stayed in the private room with my partner which offered our own space. The room was clean and comfortable. This retreat felt like a wonderful escape from the stresses of long term travel and gave me the opportunity to reconnect with my body. Definitely recommended!

Definitely recommend! I really enjoyed my one week Muay Thai training at Sitjemam. Its located in a beautiful, quiet village. I was given accommodation in an old timey bungalow, it was basic but lovely and spacious! As a complete beginner to Muay Thai, I received all the help I needed throughout. It’s intense but fun! The corrections may sound/feel a bit harsh for some at the beginning but you’ll find it all in good spirit and humour once you settle in. Mam is a fantastic trainer and she really made sure I was well taken care of, even at the accommodation. The entire team of thai and non-thai trainers were great, especially Harry, who’s really patient and kind. Would surely visit again when I’m in Thailand.
