Updated April 19th, 2018.
As part of the Open Water Diver Course now you can take the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course. This change was made after research showed the numerous safety benefits of diving with Nitrox.
Enriched Air Nitrox Course is one of PADI’s most popular specialty SCUBA courses, as it gives you more ‘no decompression time’. This is particularity useful for those wanting to take repetitive scuba dives. Become an enriched air diver, stay down for more time and get back in the water sooner!
What will you learn during the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course?
While taking the PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Course you will learn the reason why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content, gives you more bottom time. You will learn what equipment considerations to make when diving with enriched air.
During a practical session, and two optional scuba dives, you will learn about:
- Discuss Oxygen Exposure
- Analyze Cylinder O2 Contents
- Pair your Dive Computer
We offer a maximum group size of four students to one of our experienced instructors, making sure that each student receives enough attention. This way, they can qualify as a safe and competent diver whilst also having a great time!
Note: If smaller group instruction is required, please message us and we are happy to arrange!
Here is a sample of the schedule of the Enriched Air Nitrox Course which includes the two dives. (This Schedule can be flexible according to your needs.)
|Day 1||14:00 – 18:00||Course Orientation, Paperwork & Theory|
|Day 2||06:00 – 10:30||2 x Nitrox Dives|
Note: The finish time for the event that ends at Sail Rock will be around 15:00.
About the qualification
The Enriched Air Diver License certifies you to dive around the world and enjoy the benefits of using Nitrox.
After having achieved this qualification there are a few routes to continue. Firstly, you may decide to continue Fun Diving with us or continue using Nitrox. (All ex-students will receive a discounted price on all dives that they do with us, it’s our way of saying thanks!)
After that, you could decide to take a Specialty Diver Course to learn more about the various environments in which you can dive. The most popular of these dive courses is the Wreck Diver Specialty which allows you explore the inside of shipwrecks. Also, the Deep Diver Specialty certifies you to dive 40 meters.
With both of these last two dive specialty course, we offer 10% Discount.
