Amy lived as an English Teacher in Chiang Mai for many years and is now hitting the road pursuing her dream to be a travel writer. She has a travel blog 'My Chiang Mai Everything' which celebrates everything about the city that she loves. Are you interested in writing for us?

Ben has travelled around South East Asia several times in the last few years, drawn back by the great food, culture and cheap lifestyle. Recently wed, he now takes his travel slow, travelling with his wife and his camera by his side, trying to taste, understand and document local food as much as possible.

Charla started her backpacking adventures in Europe while studying at the University of Bologna, Italy. Since then, she’s lived in Bangkok, Bali, Seoul, and Koh Phi Phi and worked as a textbook writer, school teacher, yoga teacher, divemaster and bar flyer girl. She now lives in the US with her fiancé, but still gets out to live the backpacker dream as much as she can. Are you interested in writing for us?

After six years of cold weather, Chase moved from Alaska to Bangkok to work and explore SE Asia. Along with his girlfriend, Charla, he has completed some epic travel adventures like driving a car from London to Mongolia in the Mongol Rally! Chase is currently taking a break from travel living in the US and saving up for his next trip!

Dave joined the backpacker scene later than most. After 13 years in Barcelona, he set off for Asia for the first time at age 34. At this ripe old age, you're more likely to find him in a half-moon pose than at a full-moon party. Dave is a keen musician (Chopper Dave) and has a keen interest in urban exploration.

Having just graduated from the University of Birmingham, Georgia and John packed their bags and headed to New Zealand and Australia. Now travelling through South East Asia they are on the hunt for the region's best hostels, tastiest dishes and most awesome adventures.

Hannah Rivera is a freelance writer and Clinical Psychology graduate student. She left the hustle and bustle of New York City and made her way to Athens, Greece for a tastier and more relaxed lifestyle. When she’s not writing, Hannah spends time volunteering and feeding Athens’ street cats and dogs. Are you interested in writing for us?

Helen Comerford is from London and is currently taking a break from work in theatre to travel around Asia. She writes about her travel experiences on her blog, My life as a Lost Girl. She has written two novels and is several paragraphs into the third. Are you interested in writing for us?

Karen Farini went from owning a Burlesque nightclub in London (Volupté) to running the most popular backpacker hostel on Koh Phangan! Former deputy editor at SEA Backpacker Magazine, Karen has been adventure caving in Malaysia, attended music festivals in Borneo, and interviewed tantric gurus in Thailand - all in the name of journalism! Laura Davies started her career at South East Asia Backpacker Magazine on an internship in the summer of 2011. After proving she could knock back shots, ride a scooter and look good in a poncho, she soon became an indispensable part of the team. She's now living in London as a freelance designer and running our sister website - Europe Backpacker.

Nikki Scott is the founder & editor of South East Asia Backpacker. A traveller-turned-entrepreneur, she left the UK in 2009 and after 6 months on the road, she started a bi-monthly print magazine about backpacking in Asia. South America Backpacker soon followed and today she runs her backpacking enterprise from her base in Spain. Her honest and fascinating book, Backpacker Business, tells the story of her success in the face of adversity.

Nina Ragusa is the intrepid soul behind 'Where in the World is Nina?' This American wildflower shares her explorations without fluffing the details. You can expect wit and sarcasm dashed between REAL travel information and adventurous stories. Nina is a professional beach bum, hula hooper, and revels in getting lost on purpose.

Alesha and Jarryd, otherwise known as NOMADasaurus are an Australian couple who have been travelling the world since 2008. With a love for overland travel, they've explored Europe, South America, rode 15,000km by motorbike around Asia and got engaged inside the biggest cave in the world in Vietnam!

Penny Atkinson taught kindergarten in Bangkok for one year. Originally from the UK, she has travelled and worked in many parts of Asia and currently lives in Beijing. Are you interested in writing for us?

Tyler, originally from Massachusetts, became familiar with SEA Backpacker Magazine whilst living and teaching in Chiang Mai. She travelled to South America with the owner of the company to help set up their second magazine, South America Backpacker. Currently back in the US, she continues to document her experiences on her blog, The Thai Chronicles.

Viktoria and Laura spent their teen years together in a small town in Germany. At the end of 2017 they decided to leave their jobs, flats and families behind to become full-time travellers, seek adventures, learn new things and meet inspiring people in beautiful places throughout Asia.
