- Do I need a visa to enter Cambodia? Almost everyone is required to apply for an eVisa or Visa on Arrival (VOA). Only very few nationalities are visa exempt.

eVisa: 30-Day Single-Entry Tourist Visa (T Class)
- What is an eVisa? This single-entry visa allows the majority of passport holders to stay in Cambodia for up to 30 days. (Can be extended.)
- How to apply: Apply using the official eVisa website.
- Cost: approx. $30USD (Subject to change.)
What do you need to apply?
- A passport with at least six months validity from the intended period of stay in Cambodia
- Photo, no older than six months (JPEG or PNG)
- Other supporting documents

It takes approx. three business days to process the eVisa. Make sure you print it and carry it with you upon arrival.
Visa On Arrival (VOA): 30-day Single-entry Visa
- What is a Visa on Arrival (VOA)? This single-entry visa permits the majority of passport holders to stay up to 30 days in Cambodia (with possibility of extension).
- How to apply: Apply at the border/checkpoint (during your journey by bus or plane you will be given the entry form to fill out).
- Cost: approx. $30USD (payable in US dollars)

- Photo, no older than six months (2×2 inches/5x5cm)

Cambodia: Extending your Visa
The 30-day visa can be extended once for an additional 30 days. Extensions can only be done in the immigration department in the capital, Phnom Penh!
Cost: around $50USD + processing charge in person. (Subject to change.)
Important!
If you are not near the capital, you can use a privately owned company to arrange a visa extension on your behalf. They will usually collect your passport in person and either send it to Phnom Penh or drive it there directly. This service can be costly and not all companies should be trusted – do your research and watch out for scammers!
Border Runs from Cambodia
If your time in Cambodia is coming to an end and you’ve exhausted your allowance for visa extensions, you can always do a border run. Recommended destinations include Thailand, Vietnam or Laos.
