- Ha Giang is the northernmost province in Vietnam, located 300 km far north of Hanoi – about an 6 hour bus drive. It is famous for being one of the most incredible motorbike loops in Southeast Asia thanks to its beautiful mountains with limestone formations, rivers and rice fields that embellish the landscape which are ever-changing depending on the season.

Itinerary
This 4-Day Ha Giang Loop Tour is perfect for those who want to truly experience all the Ha Giang loop has to offer. With added excursions such as bamboo rafting along the Ban an stream.
Night 1: Transfer to Ha Giang from Hanoi, Sapa or Ninh Binh
- 7:30 PM: Get on premium Sleeper bus to Ha Giang. Free bed for you in our homestay upon 3 AM arrival for a nap and breakfast before the tour starts.
- 8:00 PM: Everyone meets at Epic Tour Hanoi Office. Keep your bags here and enjoy free tea, coffee here all day. (No. 05 Au Trieu Str., Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). 9:00 PM: Get on best comfort Sleeper bus to Ha Giang. Checking in our Hotel in Ha Giang City in early morning around 3 AM and offering yourself a nap and breakfast before the tour starts.
DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – YEN MINH TOWN – DONG VAN
(Highlight on Ha Giang loop: Heaven Gate -Bac Sum Pass-Tham Ma Pass- H’mong King Palace)
- 8:30 AM: Meeting your guide and easy rider then our brilliant Ha Giang Loop adventure begins. The road leads you to Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven Gate, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town. Having lunch at local homestay in Nam Dam village.
- Short break and drive towards Dong Van, through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass. Indeed, the whole Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geo-heritage sight in Vietnam.
- The landscape is composed of unlimited rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and breathtaking views. It also gives you the chance to experience the life of hill-tribe villages where local people works on the land.
- Visiting Hmong King’s Palace, a home of Vuong’s family in Sa Phin. Arrival Dong Van in quite late afternoon, enjoy a local Vietnamese dinner and live music, karaoke after a long day of mind blowing landscape views.
- At night time, free and easy before another day of adventures.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TOWN-MA PI LENG PASS- CHILL ON WATERFALL- PARTY AT CHEERS DU GIA HOMESTAY
(Highlight on Ha Giang Loop: Happiness road – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Sky Path – Meo Vac Town – Waterfall – Authentic homestay)
- After breakfast we leave Dong Van Town to enter the highlight of the journey, the Ma Pi Leng Pass It is well known for its cliffs and breathtaking views, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam with its highest point at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
- As experience how spectacular the pass is, we will climb the Sky Path to have a closer look at the whole valley and Nho Que River. From the top view, there is a picturesque 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass.
- Once at the peak, you will feel awed by the majestic mountains and rivers. Then we continue to drive through the villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, where our break for lunch is served.
- In the afternoon, we pass through the epic mountainous to Du Gia rural homestay where located in the middle of green rice fields. Cozy dinner with local and drink Happy Water.

DAY 3: LOCAL LIFE IN DU GIA VILLAGE – BAN AN STREAM – THAM LIN CAVE – PARTY AT CHEERS DU GIA HOMESTAY
(Highlight on Ha Giang Loop: Hiking around the village through rice fields – Enjoy local life – Ban An Stream – Tham Lin Cave – Bamboo raft – Authentic homestay)
- After breakfast at the homestay, we hike around the village through rice fields and visit local house to observe local life.
- After lunch, we head off to Ngoc Long, known as a neglected wonder hidden in dense forests, and enjoy a bamboo raft ride through Ban An stream and Tham Lin Cave.
- You can admire a green picture of the natural turquoise color of the water under the ravine, the green of the surrounding forests, the green of the undulating mountains far into the horizon.
- We go back to Du Gia Village, have a cozy dinner with the locals and hold a big party at the homestay with newcomers.

DAY 4: DU GIA-LUNG TAM VILLAGE -HA GIANG-HANOI
(Highlight on Ha Giang Loop: Good morning nature – walking around rice field – Lung Tam village)
- On the last day of our journey, we go walking in the beautiful village.
- Visit Lung Tam. This village is occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities, who are skillful textile producers. We then cross Quan Ba town and have a look at the Nui Doi mountain.
- After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and go back to Ha Giang late afternoon, before getting the 4:30 PM Comfort Limosine bus back to Hanoi Oldquarter. Arrival Cheers Hostel – Hanoi Old Quarter about 11:00 PM.
- As you do not have your accommodation, you can book a private room for 28$/night at Cheers Hanoi.

3 DAYS EPIC HA GIANG LOOP:
Night 1: Hanoi (Sapa) to Ha Giang by Sleeper Bus
- 8:00 PM: Everyone meets at Cheers Hostel in Old Quarter ( Add: 05 Au Trieu, Hoan Kiem, Hano) .
- 9:00 PM: Get on a comfortable Sleeper Bus to Ha Giang. Check into our Ha Giang homestay in the early morning around 3 AM for a nap and breakfast to prepare for 3 days of adventure!
DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – YEN MINH TOWN -DONG VAN
( Highlights: Heaven Gate -Bac Sum Pass-Tham Ma Pass- H’mong King Palace- )
- 8:30 AM: Meet your easy rider tour guide, prepare with knee/elbow pads and hop on the motorbike – your Ha Giang Motorbike Tour has begun!
- Begin by heading towards Bac Sum Pass, up to Heaven Gate, where you can take in the beautiful scenery of the twin mountains and Tam Son town. We stop for lunch in Yen Minh Town, then drive towards Dong Van, through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass.
- You’ll be wowed by the surrounding geo-heritage site called Dong Van Karst. The landscape is composed of endless rice terraces, thousands of limestone rocks and awe-inspiring views. This is also where you’ll get the first glimpse into the life of the local hill tribe people as they work on the surrounding land.
- Next, visit Hmong King’s Palace, the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people. Arrive at the family-owned hotel in Dong Van early evening. Here, you’ll enjoy a local Vietnamese dinner and perhaps even some karaoke with the local families after a long day of riding and sightseeing.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TOWN-MA PI LENG PASS- NHO QUE RIVER- DU GIA LOCAL VILLAGE
( Highlights: Happiness road – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Sky Walk- Meo Vac Town – Du Gia Waterfall )
- After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town to make our way to the “King” of mountain passes in Vietnam – the Ma Pi Leng Pass.
- It’s risen to fame because of its abrupt cliffs and breathtaking views with an altitude of 2,000m at its peak! After driving through the pass and stopping occasionally to soak in the best views and snap photos, you’ll have the opportunity to trek the Sky Path, which offers a 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass.
- While most only get to see the Nho Que River from the mountain pass! Paddling along the turquoise waters with the mountains above will be unforgettable. We’ll continue to drive through the rustic villages of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, where lunch is served.
- In the afternoon, we pass through the epic mountains to Du Gia rural homestay, located in the middle of green rice fields. Here, you’ll enjoy a massive, home-cooked dinner with your host family and new friends. Don’t forget to try the “Happy Water” – which is what the Vietnamese affectionately call rice wine.

DAY 3: DU GIA-LUNG TAM VILLAGE -HA GIANG-HANOI
( Highlights: Swimming in local waterfall – Lung Tam village)
- On the last day of your journey, be sure to pack your swimsuit as we’ll be stopping at a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim. Then, you’ll experience firsthand the art of H’mong textile making in Lung Tam, a H’mong village where local women work tirelessly to produce pieces of textile art.
- You’ll even have the opportunity to purchase a textile bag or other accessories to take home with you. We then cross Quan Ba town, where you’ll see Nui Doi mountain. Making our way back to Ha Giang Loop, we cross the Sky Gate and head back through Bac Sum Pass to arrive back at our Ha Giang hostel in the early afternoon.
- At 4:30 PM, you’ll board our exclusive Comfort Limousine Van back to Hanoi, arriving in the Hanoi Old Quarter around 11:30 PM.
