Overview
Built in 2019, the Genesis Regal Cruise Yacht is the epitome of luxury. With 20 spacious rooms, each with their own private balcony with full sea view, standing and lying bath-tubs, showers, WIFI, flat-screen TV and AC, you can be sure that whichever room you choose, you can relax in total comfort. With an indoor and outdoor restaurant, an indoor and outdoor bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi AND the largest sundeck of any cruise ship in the bay, the Genesis Regal is pure opulence. All food served on board is prepared by a top-class chef with an extremely diverse buffet of over 100 different dishes from Vietnamese to European cuisine. Departing from Tuan Chau Harbour, the cruise’s journey is unique as you sail to lesser-visited parts of Halong and Lan Ha Bay. You’ll take part in many activities such as swimming, cycling, Tai chi, fishing, cooking classes and local boat trips.
Itinerary – 3 Days, 2 Nights
Day 1: Hanoi to Halong Bay (Activities Include: Dark & Bright Cave, Swimming at Lagoon, Cooking Class, Sunset Party)
Hanoi – Tuan Chau Marina – Halong Bay – Sang Toi (Dark & Bright) Cave – Swimming at Lagoon natural area (in Lan Ha Bay) – Sunset party – Cookery demonstration – Onboard night activities (Lunch & Dinner).
- 8.00 – 8.30: Pick-up in luxurious minivan and depart for Halong Bay.
- 11.30 – 11.45: You will be welcomed by Genesis Regal’s receptionists at the waiting lounge, take a rest, and be registered for the trip.
- 12.00 – 12.15: Small boat transfer to Genesis Regal Cruise.
- 12.30 – 12.45: Guests will arrive on the Genesis Regal Cruise with a warm welcome from the crew.
- 12.45 – 13.30: Enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant as the cruise begins its voyage of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay.
- 13.45 – 15.00: Check in to your room or relax on the boats spacious sundeck and savour the impressive karst scenery.
- 15.00: Take a small bamboo boat rowed by local fisher people to visit the famous Dark and Bright Cave.
- 17.00 – 18.00: Genesis Regal Cruise will move to the overnight destination. Here you can swim in the sea, the swimming pool and jacuzzi; rest, relax on the sundeck or use the spa and massage services.
- 18.00 – 19.15: Join the on-board cooking class in the bar area on the cruise’s sundeck. Listen to music and enjoy drinks, fruits, cakes as the sunset party begins…
- 19.30 – 20.45: Enjoy dinner in the restaurant, eating and chatting with fellow guests.
- 21.00 – 22.00: Guests are free to choose evening entertainment activities: watching movies, squid fishing, massage…
- 22.00 – 22.30: Cruise anchors in the quietest area of the bay overnight.
Day 2: Viet Hai Village, Lan Ha Bay, Ba Trai Dao Beach (Activities Include: Tai Chi, Cycling, Swimming, Visit Hidden Beaches, Massage, Squid Fishing)
- 6.00: Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the top deck of the cruise (optional).
- 6.30 – 7.30: Have breakfast and enjoy the stunning beauty of Lan Ha Bay as the cruise sails.
- 7.30 – 9.45: You are free to enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi, rest, relax on the roof, or use massage services on board.
- 9.45 – 10.30: Have an early brunch on the cruise.
- 12.45 – 15.00: Speedboat takes you on an excursion to the vast and beautiful areas of Lan Ha Bay. You will then go to Viet Hai fishing village on Cat Ba island. You can cycle around the fishing village to experience the beautiful natural scenery here, through primeval forest and visit the households to learn about the daily life of the people
- 15.00 – 16.30: Move to the next destination of Ba Trai Dao beach, a beautiful secret beach in Lan Ha Bay where you are free to swim or relax on the beach and enjoy the scenery.
- 16.30 – 16.45: Speedboat takes you back to Genesis Regal Cruise just in time for a spectacular sunset.
- 17.00 – 19.15: Return to the room to rest, relax or take a bath overlooking the ocean.
- 19.30: A luxurious dinner is served at the restaurant.
- 21.00 – 22.00: After dinner, you are free to relax on deck with a cocktail, go night squid fishing, enjoy a massage.
- 22.00 – 22.30: Spend the night on the cruise.
Day 3: Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay, Hanoi (Activities Include: Tai Chi, Kayaking to Tra Bau Floating House)
- 6.00: Optional sunrise Tai Chi class to start the day is held on the roof deck of the cruise.
- 6:30: A nutritious breakfast served at the restaurant.
- 7.30: Small boat takes you to Tra Bau Floating House where you can go kayaking by yourself to explore the nooks and crannies of Lan Ha Bay.
- 9.00: Return to the cruise to relex and finally check out of your room.
- 9.30 – 10.30: Enjoy brunch while the cruise returns to the harbour.
- 10.45 – 11.00: Transfer to a small boat to take you to Tuan Chau Marina.
- 11.30 – 11.45: Depart to Hanoi.
- 14.30 – 15.00: Expected arrival time back in Hanoi Old Quarter.

The Genesis Regal Cruise has 20 spacious and luxurious cabins. They all have private balconies, bath tubs, AC, WIFI and flat-screen TV. There are several types of rooms to meet the needs of visitors (please choose your preference at the time of booking):

- How do I get from Hanoi to the harbour? You will travel from Hanoi to the Harbour by VIP Limousine Bus. The cost is $30 US round trip. $20 US one way. Pick-up drop off in other locations also available.
- Can I meet the rest of the group at the harbour? Yes, if you prefer to travel to Halong Bay by yourself, you can get picked up between 11:15 to 11:45 in the waiting lounge – No.19 Tuan Chau International Marina.
- Is this tour suitable for children? Yes, children get discount. Please enquire.
