FAQs
- How many different surf spots are visited per day during the tour? The number of surf breaks visited will depend on many factors – for example if you choose to go to Balian to the west of Bali then time would only allow the one location for the day. If on the other hand, you head to the Uluwatu area where there are several breaks, then you can choose to try more than one surf break in a day. It also depends on surf conditions, ability, your motivation/desires etc. The car and the guide are available for the day to do whatever you decide to do – in consultation with each other, drawing on the expertise of the surf guide.
- Do I need my own surf board to do this tour? Most people who do this surf tour do have their own surfboard, but if you don’t, you can rent one for $12 US/day.
- What is the breakfast? The breakfast is a standard hotel buffet style breakfast with a variety of fruits, bread and local Balinese food. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available.
- Can I do this tour any time of year? Yes, surfing is possible all year round in Bali on one of the island’s many beaches. However, be aware that April to November is rainy season and surf days may be called off due to bad weather and rough, dangerous seas.
