Experience the flavours of Vietnam through this dynamic coffee experience. Buzz around the bustling streets of Hanoi in search of the perfect caffeine fix. Your local experienced guide will give you the lowdown while he brings you on a journey showcasing the Hanoi coffee scene with the perfect blend of tradition and modern.

Itinerary: 4-Hour Tour (Half Day)

09:15 am: Meet your friendly local tour guide Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, Hoàn Kiếm Lake and prepare for a short stroll through the bustling streets of Hanoi.

09:30 am: The first stop on this coffee journey will allow you to partake in an Egg coffee workshop. Learn how the delicious and old recipe of Vietnamese Egg Coffee is made, and try out your tasty results.

10:30 am: Take another short stroll and arrive at one of Hanoi’s oldest cafes. Tucked away in a little alley, lays a small café steeped in history and tradition. The perfect place to relax and talk coffee, as you sip on a cup of your chosen brew.

11:00 am: On the way to the next stop, your guide will make a quick pit stop at a local stall selling a traditional snack for you to try. We can’t promise you won’t be addicted.

11:30 am: Want to see how some locals enjoy their coffee? Take a seat on a small plastic chair placed by the street, a coffee in hand, watching the world go by.

12:00 pm: Now that you have seen Hanoi’s traditional coffee side, its time to see how it has modernized over the years, participate in a quick introduction, watch and learn how these skilled baristas prepare and serve your coffee and then it’s time for some sampling, relax and enjoy as you are guided through the process and taste of each coffee. (these beans make for a great souvenir)

12:45 pm: End the tour just in time for lunch, your tour guide can suggest some must-try places to eat, join another one of our tours or simply continue exploring this wonderful city!

In order to book this experience, you will need to pay a deposit online via South East Asia Backpacker.
This deposit is fully refundable if you wish to cancel up until 48 hours before the start of the activity. PLEASE NOTE: This policy refers to the payment made to South East Asia Backpacker at the time of booking. All subsequent payments to the operator of your chosen activity fall under their own refund policy
For cancellations made fewer than 48 hours before the start of the activity there is no refund available.
You can request a change of date at any time.
Date changes are entirely down to the availability of the operator and nothing to do with South East Asia Backpacker.
If your date change is not agreed upon, as long as it is more than 48 hours before the start date you originally made your booking for, your deposit can be refunded in full if you wish to cancel.
The remaining payment for the experience is payable directly to the operator.
The operator can request the remaining payment via an online payment link or upon arrival at the destination.
The refund of the second payment, which goes directly to the operator, is based on the terms and conditions of the operator, over which South East Asia Backpacker have no control.
