Itinerary:
Day 1
- 12:30 AM-1:40 PM: Pick-up from pre-arranged pick-up points (Sandakan/Airport or Sepilok)
- Arrive at Sukau Greenview Bed & Breakfast, check-in and briefing
- 4:00 PM: Afternoon cruise on the Kinabatangan River (2 hours)
- 6:30 PM: Dinner at the riverside restaurant
- 7:30 PM: Night cruise for nocturnal wildlife (1-1.5 hours)
Day 2
- 5:30 AM: Wake-up call
- 6:00 AM: Morning cruise with wildlife sightings (1.5-2 hours)
- 7:40 AM: Breakfast
- 9:30 AM: Jungle walk to explore flora and fauna (2 hours)
- 12:30 PM: Lunch at the restaurant
- 4:00 PM: Afternoon cruise with sunset views (2 hours)
- 6:30 PM: Dinner
- 7:30 PM: Night walk near the premises (1-1.5 hours)

Day 3

Accommodation :
You will stay at Sukau Greenview B&B, located on the banks of the Kinabatangan River.
- Hostel (Shared accommodation) – The most budget-friendly accommodation option is the hostel, situated in the main building, facing the restaurant. It can accommodate six people with bunk beds and single beds. It has an attached shared toilet and shower room, air conditioning, and a fan. โ Ideal for solo budget backpackers!
- Cabins (Private accommodation) – The cabins are semi-detached chalets, each with three rooms, an en suite bathroom, and air conditioning. There is one double room and one twin room. โ Perfect for couples or friends on a budget craving privacy!
- Deluxe & Superior Rooms (Private accommodation) – The deluxe and superior rooms are located in a two-story house with a total of five private rooms. The deluxe rooms, both on the first floor, are double rooms. The superior rooms, located on the ground floor, include one double room, and one twin room. These rooms are more spacious than the cabins and come with en suite bathrooms and air conditioning. โ Best for comfort and space!
Food:
Meals are included according to the itinerary and are generally served buffet style in the on-site restaurant. Some dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, can be accommodated and will be served at your table. If you have specific dietary needs, please check in advance to ensure they can be catered for.

FAQs
- I am flying into Sandakan. What time should I aim to arrive?
Take a morning flight into Sandakan. Pick-up from the airport usually commences at 12:50.
- What should I pack for the trip?
Rain jacket, suncream, hat, insect repellent (DEET recommended), torch, cash, long-sleeved clothing, hiking boots, leech socks, and binoculars.
- Can I bring children?
Children aged 3-11 years are welcome in a group with a minimum of 2 adults. Rates for children are 50% of adult rates and children under 3 years are free when sharing a bed. Please inform us of any children when making your booking.
- What is the best time of year to do this trip?
To increase your chance of seeing wildlife, it is recommended to do this trip during the dry season which falls from March to October.
- Are binoculars provided?
Binoculars are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own. While you donโt need binoculars, they will help you see the animals your guide points out.
- Can I get a transfer to a different destination than I was picked up from?
As well as Sandakan/Airport and Sepilok, travellers can be dropped off at the main town of Kinabatangan for onward travel connections to Semporna, Lahad Datu or Kota Kinabalu.
- Are there any other charges I need to know about?
Tourism Tax RM10.00 per room per night will be collected upon check in.

- We strongly recommend getting travel insurance for your trip to Malaysian Borneo.
- In the event of heavy rain, the safety of guests is prioritized. Therefore, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the boat cruise or jungle walk. Any cancelled activities will be rescheduled to a morning cruise on day 3.
- The organiser has the sole discretion to cancel or shorten the duration of any tour due to force majeure, hostilities, accidents, or other circumstances beyond their control.
