About Emerald Muay Thai

About the Training
Training takes place twice a day Monday to Saturday. There is optional jogging in the morning for every student
Morning run: 7am – 8am
- Beginners run 5km to the local beach of Ao Nang (around 30 minutes).
- Intermediates run 7km to the beach of Nopparat (around 45 minutes).
- Advanced students run 10km to the national park of Nopparat (around 55 minutes).
- Professional fighters run 12km to the national park with 30% slope for one hour.
Morning Sessions: 8am – 10am
Focus:
- Fitness, development of physique and Muay Thai technique
Routine:
- Stretching, warm up: 5mins of stretching; 20mins of shadow boxing
- Heavy bag work: 3 rounds of 3minutes
- In the boxing ring: Learning styles (attack, defense), technical correction, sparring.
- Development of strength/ speed, the stamina, the power (clinch) and the explosion
Afternoon Session: 4pm – 6pm
- Warm-up: 10 minutes of stretch, 15 minutes of skipping, 20 minutes of shadow boxing.
- Heavy bag work: 3 to 5 rounds of 3 to 5 minutes (using fists, feet, knees, elbows).
- In the boxing ring: 3 x 3 rounds of of 3 to 5 minutes with your trainer.
- Stretching and sit-ups 15 to 20 minutes

Location
- The camp is located in Ao Nang Beach in the province of Krabi in the south of Thailand. The area is not overcrowded with tourists meaning that you can have the beach to yourself at times to train, run or relax.
- Close by there are many tourist attractions such as temples, mountains, beaches, deserted islands which you can visit by longtail boat. The province of Krabi is also famous for rock-climbing due to its limestone cliffs and impressive karst seascape.
- Kayaking, trekking and diving are also possible in this beautiful area.
- To get to the camp, the easiest way is to fly from Bangkok to Krabi International Airport which is a 20 minute drive to the gym by bus or taxi.
How is payment made: To reserve your training program at this camp you need to make an initial deposit online (see above). Once the deposit is made you will receive an email from the camp confirming your dates and accommodation. The camp will then send you a payment link to settle the final balance. The rest of the payment must be made 30 days before your arrival at the camp or your booking will be cancelled.
