About this Course

This Yoga Teacher Training Course meets all Yoga Alliance requirements with only eighteen days of classes.  We will cover:

  • Practicum: 10 hours
  • Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics for Yoga Teachers: 20 hours
  • Teaching Methodology: 15 hours
  • Techniques, Training, and Practice: 75 hours
  • Anatomy and Physiology: 10 hours

The training has small class sizes of 10 people maximum to ensure a deeply personal experience. There is a great mix of yoga styles with a focus on Hatha and Vinyasa to teach unification, strong foundations and good alignment, as well as moving through posture and breathing. Upon completion of this program, you will be a certified yoga instructor.

At La Casa Shambala we have an interactive method of teaching where you will be focusing on a fully immersive yoga experience, teaching, and group dynamics. The Yoga Teacher Training Course includes methods of reflective self-analysis as well as a proper diet, all in a lovely private Thai-style home allowing you to enjoy and evolve in the perfect environment for your study.

Accommodation

For this course, you will sleep in cozy bamboo huts. The price depends on which type of accommodation you choose:

1 Person, Shared Bamboo Hut

This option is for one person, in a shared two-person bungalow. If you do not have a partner, you will be paired with another student. There are shared bathrooms and shower facilities on site. Included in the accommodation are a fan, a comfortable mattress, pillows, and fresh linens. Each unit has its electrical socket for the ease of charging devices and, of course, free Wi-Fi. Electricity and water are included and toilet paper will be provided.

1 Person, Private Bamboo Hut

This option is for one person, private single room. There are shared bathrooms and shower facilities on site. Included in the accommodation are a fan, a comfortable mattress, pillows, and fresh linens. Each unit has its electrical socket for the ease of charging devices and, of course, free Wi-Fi. Electricity and water are included and toilet paper will be provided.

2 People, Private Bamboo Hut

This option is for a private room for two people. (The price is for two people sharing). There are shared bathrooms and shower facilities on site. Included in the accommodation are a fan, a comfortable mattress, pillows, and fresh linens. Each unit has its electrical socket for the ease of charging devices and, of course, free Wi-Fi. Electricity and water are included and toilet paper will be provided.

About the Food

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on class days with dinner on check-in as well. All meals are healthy organic and vegan, served buffet style. There will be no food included on the day off (only one day) or on check out day but kitchen facilities are available for guests.

La Casa Shambala may be able to meet any special dietary needs (including vegetarian meals) but please message us in advance to see if possible. Additional charges may apply.

Refund Policy

  • In order to book this experience, you will need to pay a deposit online via South East Asia Backpacker.
  • This deposit is fully refundable if you wish to cancel up until 48 hours before the start of the activity.
  • For cancellations made fewer than 48 hours before the start of the activity there is no refund available.
  • You can request a change of date at any time, free of additional charges.
  • Date changes are entirely down to the availability of the operator and nothing to do with South East Asia Backpacker. 
  • If your date change is not agreed, as long as it is within 48 hours of the start date you originally made your booking for, your deposit can be refunded in full if you wish to cancel.
  • The remaining payment for the experience is payable directly to the operator.
  • The operator can request the remaining payment via an online payment link or upon arrival at the destination.
  • The refund of the second payment, which goes directly to the operator, is based on the terms and conditions of the operator, over which South East Asia Backpacker have no control.
