Spend an unforgettable 3 days on Castaways, our exclusive, private island in Ha Long Bay, one of the natural wonders of the world. Settle into paradise in one of our 5 open-air beach bungalows; kick up the sand on our secluded three-hundred-meter stretch of beach; party the night away on our dance floor with a live nightly DJ; and make friendships that just might last a lifetime. Castaways is a bucket-list, Must-do in Vietnam and will likely be the best decision you make in South East Asia.
(B= Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner)
DAY 1- HANOI TO CASTAWAYS (L,D)
Meet your crew bright and early to make your way to the island by bus and boat. Upon arrival, grab a drink and feast on local cuisine, as you are welcomed by your island hosts. Get wet and wild, choosing between high speed tubing and wakeboarding on pristine, glassy waters. Rock climb with our professional guides, scaling cliff karsts right over our beach for awesome views. Play some footie and beach volleyball, or simply relax and sunbathe with new friends as you prepare to party, dancing and drinking the night away under the stars.
DAY 2- ALL DAY CRUISE (B, L, D)
Get a good base going with breakfast and prepare for an epic day ahead. Board a traditional junk boat and cruise through Lan Ha bay, past local fisherman and their floating villages. Jump off the top deck (if you dare) for a swim before grabbing a kayaking partner for a guided tour, exploring the rich history of Ha Long Bay, in the midst of limestone caves and jade green lagoons. Keep your eyes peeled for the endangered Langur monkeys native to the area as you make your way back to the boat for lunch onboard. Cruise the afternoon away, stopping for a bit more swimming and plenty more fun, as you return to the island to meet the new crew that’s just arrived. Do it all over again in the evening with drinks, dinner and dancing. And don’t forget to make a late-night trip to the beach for one of the best views of the bay’s bioluminescent plankton.
DAY 3- CASTAWAYS TO HANOI (B, L)
Enjoy a leisurely last morning. Take a kayak out, go for a swim, or just nurse your hangover chilling in the sun before one more feed and the journey back to Hanoi. If this is the beginning of your awesome journey throughout Vietnam, let our Hostel travel team help plan the rest of your trip with your new Castaways crew. If it’s the end of your travels, what a way to go out. But don’t forget, if you can’t bear to leave paradise, you can always stay “one more night”…
