Push yourself to the limits during this canyoning trip in Dalat!
Dalat Canyoning Itinerary:
You will be picked up from either your accommodation or the Viet Challenge offices. Around 7.30am – 8 am, you will head to basecamp where will you get sized up for all of the necessary equipment. As with any kind of extreme sport, good gear is crucial to a successful and fun day. Viet Challenge will provide all travellers with harnesses, life jackets, helmets, carabiners, ropes, figure 8 and wetsuits.
Before you begin the canyoning experience, the professionally trained and experienced guides will allow you to practice the basic techniques needed and also brief you on the safety aspects of the day. Nervous travellers need not be worried, you are in safe hands with Viet Challenge!
The canyoning experience will comprise six unique stations. These are as follows:

Dry Cliff (18m)
The first stage of the trip allows you to put all that you have learnt into practice and refine your techniques. When abseiling down the cliff, you will learn how to control your speed, before you throw yourself into the air and safely land.

Ziplining
You will abseil down a rock cliff before sliding down along a cable above the falls. This station offers truly beautiful scenery and you will be in awe as you take in the views of the river!

Water sliding
Get ready for your first water slide of the day! These carefully selected rocks have been long eroded by water, leaving them surprisingly smooth. You will lay down with your arms crossed over your shoulders before sliding down and plunging into the water below. The water slide is a favourite of many who embark on this trip!

Waterfall
This waterfall is 25 m high and 20 m wide. On the surface, it looks like an impossible descent to conquer. However, by now you will have all the knowledge and skills you need to do this. Put everything you have learnt into practice and abseil down this powerful waterfall!

Free jump
The adrenaline junkies will love this station! Here you will leap from a 7m high wall. Don’t think, just jump!

Washing machine
The final station is sure to get your heart pumping! After a short abseil, you will lower yourself into the water where the force of the waterfall will spin you around, before spitting you out of the falls. It is the ultimate finale to a fun and challenging day.
Once you have completed your canyoning adventure, head to the designated rest stop for some snacks. After replenishing your energy, you will meet your return transport which will take you back to Dalat town for the afternoon.

Excellent experience. The guides were so professional and I it was so much fun. We practiced first with abseiling so that everything went smooth at the waterfall. The company even dropped us of at the busstation after, so that we could make our nightbus the same evening. Also, if you book the tour with this website it’s cheaper than at the hostel! Definately recommend.
