Located in a tropical jungle setting in the heart of Bangkok, in a local Thai neighbourhood, this is a unique experience to immerse yourself in the national sport of Thailand. Who is Attachai Fairtex?
Known in Thailand as the ‘Left hand from God’, Attachai Fairtex is a former Muay Thai World Champion who has has fought and won numerous title fights worldwide in Japan, Paris, Belgium, Los Angeles and China. Two years in a row (1997 and 1998), he was awarded the title โThe Best Muay Thai Fighter seen at Lumpini Stadiumโ.
Attachai Fairtex Fight Record: 200 fights, 180 wins, 15 losses and 5 draws.
Attachai retired at the age of 31 after coaching for six years in Thailand, the USA and Singapore. He then decided to build his awesome gym in Bangkok as a home to impart his immense Muay Thai knowledge to future generations.
Today, students from all over the world can come and train with the Thai Hero and learn from his expertise!
What is the Muay Thai Training Like?
The training at Attachai Muay Thai Gym focuses on the core techniques of strength, stamina, power, agility, speed and balance. Total beginners and more experienced fighters are welcome. The gym caters to all levels and sessions can be tailored to fitness/skill level.
Training sessions are twice a day and usually include:
- Warm-up, Skipping (10 minutes), Shadow Boxing, Heavy Bags, Techniques Drill, Sparring, Clinching.
- Sessions take place twice a day: 8.00am to 10.00am and 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
- There is an optional morning/evening run for those wanting to improve fitness.

Location of the Gym in Bangkok
Unlike most gyms in Bangkok, Attachai Muay Thai is located in a natural setting next to a huge fishing pond. Here in the jungle setting, you won’t believe you are in the heart of one of the biggest and busiest cities in Asia!
The area of On Nut, where the gym is located (On Nut 36) is a local Thai neighbourhood close to restaurants, cafรฉs bars and public transport that can get you anywhere else in the city fast and cheap. The tropical natural setting allows students to focus their mind and bodies on their training, whilst enjoying city life in the evenings.
