The Classic 4 Island Tour, Krabi: The Perfect Backpacker Boat Trip!

Itinerary

Your day will begin between 1.15 pm and 1.30 pm depending on where about you are staying.

The first pick-ups will be made from Ao Nang/Krabi in front of the Pranang Inn Hotel on Ao Nang Beach. This is just a short walk up the road from the long-tail boats to Railay and the boat ticket stand.

The second stop is made in Railay, around 1.30 pm, in front of Railay Village Resort on the west side.

You will board the restored 100+ year old junk boat for your journey, where you will be taken out to the islands in front of Railay: Koh Poda, Koh Gai, Koh Si, Ko Yawasam and Ta Ming. At these stops, it is possible to go snorkelling, swimming, kayaking or to use one of the stand-up paddleboards.

Although all of these options are available to you, you can instead choose to relax on the teak deck. How much (or indeed how little!) you do is up to you!

A delicious Thai buffet dinner is served on board and there is also a bar where you can buy alcoholic drinks. Soft drinks are included in the price. Backpackers will also be pleased to hear the there is even a western toilet on board!

The day will end with beautiful sunset views as you sail back towards the Railay Peninsula. The tour will finish with the opportunity to swim in the bio-luminescent water next to Pranang Beach. Swimming in the bio-luminescence is a bucket list activity and definitely one you shouldn’t miss!

You will be dropped back at either Ao Nang or Railay between around 7.30 pm – 8.00 pm.

During this tour you won’t go onto the islands. Instead you will swim, paddleboard, snorkel and kayak from the boat.

I am vegetarian/vegan. will there be food to suit my dietary requirements?

The Thai buffet provided has options for both vegetarians and vegans.

Can this tour be affected by bad weather?

This tour is subject to change due to tidal conditions and adverse weather.

Refund Policy

In order to book this experience, you will need to pay a deposit online via South East Asia Backpacker.
This deposit is fully refundable if you wish to cancel up until 72 hours before the start of the activity. PLEASE NOTE: This policy refers to the payment made to South East Asia Backpacker at the time of booking. All subsequent payments to the operator of your chosen activity fall under their own refund policy
For cancellations made fewer than 72 hours before the start of the activity there is no refund available.
You can request a change of date at any time.
Date changes are entirely down to the availability of the operator and nothing to do with South East Asia Backpacker.
If your date change is not agreed upon, as long as it is more than 72 hours before the start date you originally made your booking for, your deposit can be refunded in full if you wish to cancel.
The remaining payment for the experience is payable directly to the operator.
The operator can request the remaining payment via an online payment link OR upon arrival at the destination.
The refund of the second payment, which goes directly to the operator, is based on the terms and conditions of the operator, over which South East Asia Backpacker have no control.
